Ok, so for probably the last month to month and a half I've definately been having a problem with delayed letdown. My daughter will go to breast than after a couple sucks pops off, she'll do this maybe 2 more times before "refusing" to try again, so then I switch sides, and she'll do the same exact things. Sometimes it literally takes switching her 3 times on each side before I letdown and she happily chugs. I've also found that it usually comes a little faster if I stand up and cradle her while she nurses, but this of course is a killer on the back and arms, and if in public well it's not really an option for me. Is there anyway to deal with this or to bring on letdown faster? I've never had this problem before, this is my second child and she is currently 5 1/2 months old. Now to top this all of starting the day before yesterday I've had two meals that were spicy and starting last night she was pukey, this morning she was pukey and her throat was hoarse. So now I probably gave her a sour stomach which made her crankier, which than developed in the puking and than I believe gave her some heartburn or acid reflux because now her voice is really hoarse. Poor thing. I feel really bad I didn't even think it would've been a problem. I put her to bed at 8:30pm tonight and she should've slept until at least 1:30 ish?? She already woke up at 12 midnight. I've also been dealing with her going through a sleep regression for the last 2 months and only this past week and a half seems to be starting to mildly improve. On top of this I feel like I'm just going to lose it somedays. I've been trying to see if there's anything I can take safely for stress while breastfeeding. I just know I need to do something for me but I can't think of anything to help with the stress. Please advise, please......
