Provera ???

Hi ladies. I was prescribed 2 10 day courses of Provera as I haven't seek af since May....My questions are to those who have used this to stimulate AF. How long did it take to kick start AF. I ask because I have a cruise in 2.5wks....I'd rather not have af visiting then (naturally if it happens that is ok ). I have to wait until I hear back about my pregnancy test this week before I start.
The other question is. CAn you take other natural herbs while taking this? Vitex, maca etc? I don't want to mix them if it messes things up even more!

Hi! I can't answer your question about other herbs/supplements, but last December I was put on one round of Provera. I hadn't had af in about six months at that point. It took ten days after my last dose for af to start up (and she was a doozy). Also, I wasn't very pleasant to be around while taking Provera. Everyone is probably different, but that is my story FWIW. Good Luck and enjoy your cruise!!
