My daughter sleeps with my husband and I. She sleeps peacefully from about 11-5, then starts to move around and make noises. I nurse her and we both fall back to sleep.

The problem is from 5 am forward till it's a mommy-friendly time to get up (haha). She is a wiggle worm! Moving her arms and legs (sometimes hitting or kicking me), making noises. Sometimes I look over at her and she's wide awake just looking at the draperies, or with her eyes closed... playing possum.

I figure this anxious movement is caused from her needing to be changed/pottied (we do EC) and also needing more to eat (nursing more instead of falling asleep at the breast).

Anyway, it's really annoying to me... keeps me from sleeping since I'm a new first time mom, I'm aware to her every movement.

What do you think?
