I just bought an Eco haven mattress off craigslist 
It is only a couple months old (the tag has the date on it for confirmation woot) and king size and I got it for CHEAP.
I'm really really excited about this purchase as there was no way I could have gotten an organic mattress otherwise, however I have a couple concerns questions.
First, is there any way to deodorize it? It was obviously stored in a smokers home. The smell isn't very strong but I'd still rather do away with it as much as possible.
Second, does anyone know if I can machine was the cover for the 6" portion? I know I can't do the top because it has the wool in it plus a tag that says dry clean only haha but the bottom cover has no tag with cleaning information. I can't tell if it is just cotton or not. I'm going to err on the side of caution, but I'd figure I could find out if anyone knows for sure.
It is in really good condition other than the smell and a couple dirty spots which I believe were from shipping and the plastic breaking open. Maybe I'm naive, but I do believe that is all it was from... I don't think the seller really used the mattress other than for maybe a couple nights after deciding it wasn't comfy.
Would it be really weird if I use the carpet glider attachment on my steam mop? would that damage anything? What if I just sprinkle some baking soda and vacuum? I have no clue how to take care of this mattress haha
