My son was 6mo when I got PG with my 2nd...all a totally surprise as I did IVF to have my first, was exclusively BFing and had sex 1 time...so much for infertility and BF=brith control folklore 
It is all doable but how easy it is depends on temperment of the children...I would have found it easier if my 2nd was born 1st b/c he is so easy-going...my oldest gives me a run for my money to this day...I alway say...he was difficult to conceive, difficult to birth( 58hrs), and difficult to parent...thankfully #2 is the complete opposite!
My best advice...let go of any guilt that creeps up...remember you are doing the best you can and your children are loved and they may recieve unequal attention at different stages, but in the end you love them all the same!
