I went in for a sono last Thursday to check on some spotting and cramping. I expected to see one baby, measuring about 10w5d (I chart). Instead, they found twins(!), measuring 5w1d. It is likely that I conceived twins in June which stopped developing 5 weeks ago, and am now waiting to miscarry them. It is also possible that I miscarried my June pregnancy without knowing it, conceived again right away, and am now carrying healthy (likely identical!) twins. Our doctor believes that everything looks as it should for a healthy early pregnancy - my positive pregnancy tests back in June are the only indicator to the contrary. We have another sonogram scheduled for this Thursday, and won't know anything for certain until then. Either way, I don't belong in the March DDC anymore - hopefully I'll be joining April's next week.
I'm still spotting and cramping, but every day that goes by without incident leaves me more hopeful. All the best to all of you!

You are in my prayers. Best of luck!
