Worried... would this spread be safe in pregnancy?

I know you guys are sick of food threads but I am really worried here...

I didn't feel like cooking tonight so I asked dh to bring home Boston Market. I got a chicken carver sandwich, which has a dijon spread. I did put the sandwich in the microwave (I know, I know... the microwave is bad) to heat it up for 30 seconds just in case.

I just looked on Boston Market's website out of curiousity and they use egg yolks in both of the sauces on that sandwich!! I am seriously worried now! Do you think the egg yolks are safe, like in store-bought mayo?

I'm sure that restaurant/food safety laws require the eggs to be pasteurized.

I would definitely think so! I'm probly not the safest when it comes to food and pregnancy... when I make cornbread or cookies or cakes I still stick a finger (or three ) in the batter. Hasn't hurt yet, and I am pretty sure that as the pp said, in order to sell these products the eggs must be pasturized and/or meet FDA approval.

...and I never get sick of food threads

Really, I'm sure it's fine. They aren't going to sell something if it were likely to make anyone (pregnant or not) sick.

I wouldn't think twice about eating it.

i'm sure it's fine. most foods prepared for purchase used pasteurized ingredients, not fresh raw eggs.

Stop looking stuff up! I have never worried about anything or even been curious about what I have eaten. Ever. It's not worth the stress. Maybe if you were traveling outside the country, and eating foods you weren't familiar with, but here, there are a lot of safety issues in place. Honestly I would be more concerned with the cleanliness of fast food places more than the actual food ingredients. (coming from someone who ate a Burger King double cheeseburger 2 days in a row)

Please stop looking stuff up. You are doing far more damage to yourself and your pregnancy with all this stress, tension, and worry than you are with foods. The chances of you getting sick from these things are SO TINY. The chances of something bad happening to the baby are even smaller. You have more of a chance of getting struck by lightning or hit by a car, and I'm guessing you still leave your house every day.
