My DS and I co-sleep with him in the crib next to the bed like an arm's reach cosleeper. However he's on the move now and even contained by pillows he now knows how to move them. So I'm wondering what other parents have done in the same situation to keep their LO's contained. TIA!

He's on the move now doing an army crawl and pulling himself up to stand, he's almost 10 months. He crawls right over the pillows I put down or moves them. We have the crib set up as a day bed so the side that's open is set up right next to our bed so we can still co-sleep and night fed without too much disruption. And I would like to keep it that way I'm just not sure how to keep him contained so that when he's down for naps I don't have to worry about not hearing him right away in case he decides to explore the rest of the bed and wind up on the floor. Any thoughts on how to do that? Thanks!

That was when DD started napping on a mattress on the floor in her room. I still lay with her and nurse her to sleep, and she took to it really well. She lays down and calls me when she's tired, and comes to find me when she wakes up.
Oh, and like Judi, at night before we're there, she sits up and cries so that hasn't been a problem. We use a monitor.
