Your Top 3 reasons to WAH, will you share? For research...

Wondering if some of you might share your top 3 reasons to WAH with me, for a research paper I am working on. Of curse there are some top obvious reasons but I am looking for whatever you have to offer. Please be as detailed as you want to be! Thanks in advance.

I love the freedom to organize my own working hours. All my other reasons to WAH come from that - spending more time with my kids, being able to meet their needs, being able to meet friends when I want to... I don't miss office politics much either .

I also love not having the expenses related to WOHM-- commuting, work wardrobe, etc.

1) Ability to stay at home with my kids, while still pursuing my career and contributing to our income. And we are homeschoolers, so this will continue to be a benefit even when the kids are older.

2) Ability to make my own hours, work when it works for my family, and wear my PJ's.

3) What I do (creative writing) doesn't really exist as an office job anyway.

Flexibility! Independance and creativity.

Flexibility because I also work part time away from the home and I am a full time student.
Independance because I only have to rely on me and don't have to wait on co-workers or report to someone.
Creativity because I set the standards I work by and can get creative in what I do.

1- so I can make my own schedule around my kids' activities
2- so I can be in complete control of my income every month
3- so I don't have to buy work clothes or commute or pretend to enjoy the company of co-workers

That's more than 3 reasons, sorry
