Caden Riley came 1.5 weeks early yesterday! He's 7 lbs, 14 oz, 22.5 inches long and gorgeous
I was perfectly prepared for a 42 weeker since this is my first baby but no!! That part was a big surprise!
My water broke at 1:00 Sunday morning while I was sleeping and pressure waves started about an hour later. They were close all day, only about 3-5 minutes apart from 2:00 AM until Cade was born at 10:22 PM. He probably would have been born quicker but I had a wonderful cervical lip on his head the whole afternoon and evening
. It was a very long day but we did have a homebirth (I wanted to go to the hospital and just give up but DH and my awesome support people kept me going)!! Sure couldn't have birthed without my amazing hubby's non-stop help! Glad we went with a doula too!
I'm pretty sore today and am sitting on a Boppy to write this! But man, we're on cloud nine and can't stop looking at our amazing little boy!
