17 month old - Frequent Foot Pain

HI all,

my 17m/o will several times a day (maybe 5-10 times per day) will bring his feet to our attention. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but he's not just saying "Look! Feet!" kinda thing either. On occasion, he does seem to be in some discomfort.

This has been going on for a couple of weeks. I have an unrelated doctors visit tomorrow, so I'll ask then, but in the meantime, any thoughts?

Thanks a lot!

My 29 month old DS often says "Owie!" and grabs at his feet, but only when he's in the car seat. He's still RF. I don't know what it is. He keeps saying it over and over though. I can take his shoes & socks off, rub his feet, and he still says owie. He doesn't say it anywhere else though. I have no idea why he does it. It worries me, but I can't figure out what it is.

I'm sure you've already done this, but it took me a while to remember to check the insides of my son's shoes every time I put them on him - I've been amazed how often the insoles are bunched up, or a tiny something falls out.
