TF and breastmilk

Does anyone know how TF affects a person's breastmilk? When my DS was nursing I was eating a lot of processed foods just because it was hard to find time to make bone broths and sauerkraut and things like that. I think the bad diet made DH grumpy (or maybe it was just lack of sleep ) and I'm hoping to do better if we decide to have another.

Anyway, I was wondering if not eating TF meant my DS wasn't getting enough of the right kinds of fats, because they're so important for brain development. Is there anything I can do now to make up for it (aside from feeding him the best I can)? Do you other mamas know of behavioral problems I should look for? He just turned four and he's doing great as far as I can tell but I think we're probably going to send him to a public school and I'm worried about what issues he may have with education because of it.

Personally, I would just start fresh. I wouldn't worry too much about permanent damage or anything. If you're worried about behavior at school make sure he has a really good breakfast and healthy things to eat while at school. I'd avoid starchy stuff because it basically becomes sugar when processed by the body and leads to crashes. So, lots of good fats!
