To the mama I saw nursing her sweet toddler on the subway today...

I sat down beside you and your two beautiful kiddos. You were nursing your little boy - he looked to be 18-24 months old. He was humming and singing while he nursed. He fussed a few times, and you said 'No, I have to hold you' Made me think of how my little nursing gymnast would be if he had to sit still while nursing like that! I tried to make eye-contact but you were doing the 'avoid looking at anyone lest they give me a dirty-look thing' (we're Canadian, so no one would ever do more than that, especially on the subway!). I just wanted you to know that it makes me feel so happy to see another mama nursing her bigger kiddo in public. I do it sometimes, but I always feel like I'm the only one. Maybe we'll meet again!
