SYTYCD Canada

Anybody else watching this?

I always enjoy the dancing, but the rest of the show is really bothering me so far this season. It seems weird that the USA show has updated their stage and moved on to a new format, and the Canada show is the same old, same old.

Leah Millar is no Cat Deeley. Her voice just kills me.

And do we really need five judges for the first performance show? I am not a fan of any of them (especially Mary Murphy and her non-stop screaming) except for maybe Jean-Marc. He is a total perv, but it works for him!

Previous seasons I have felt like the Canadian show was on the same level, but this year it is coming across as low-budget and sub-par. I really hope it picks up.

one thing that i really like about the canadian version is that there are much more varied dance styles in the auditions. i doubt we'd see bollywood, irish dancing, hoop dancing at an american audition. i really appreciate the multicultural aspect of it.

I've been watching this show from the start but I'm starting to hate this version. I really like the American version. I can't stand Leah Miller. I can't stand Tre Armstrong or Jean-Marc Genereux. I PVR it so I can fast forward all the awful parts. I don't like how they just tell the contestants who is leaving. On the American show, they give a reason, but not on this one. I would like to know why they kicked off Jera last night. I thought he was one of the best dancers this year.
