starting to get sleep envy - am I the only one?

my 3 week old seem to think that an hour of feeding plus an hour of fussing an hugging (and has to be me she screams if anyone else holds her) is the only way to feed. Last night for example she was awake from 11pm-1am then 3am-4:30 then 6:30- the other chidlren woke and I had to get up

My husband meanwhile snored, grunted, passed wind and generally didnt lose sleep at all then he got up had a shower and drifted to work in a daze because aparently he feels "groggy".

I am seriously starting to fantasize about slapping him in the middle of the night just because he is sleeping and I am not.

Am I the only one to feel this way because all joking aside Im getting really grumpy with him and starting to feel a little miserable about the lack of sleep!

I totally feel you. There have been many timnes when I had to bite my tongue at dh. Especially during the time when dd2 was waking up every 45 minutes (food allergy). We started putting her in her bed in the room with dd1 around 8 months old. Then when she woke up she would come in bed with us. I would usually fall back asleep. Dh would complain that dd2 kicks him and he would say I needed to put her back in her bed. And i would say, you have legs too. So if she is rolling around kicking you, take her and put her back in her room yourself.

I hope it gets better.

Yes, I have to keep my eyes from rolling out of my head anytime DH complains about being tired. Mostly, I just try to say something like "I hear you." or whatever, like I'm agreeing that I'm tired too and it sucks, even though I know I am 120395842305x more tired than he is and you just don't understand what tired is until you are taking care of a baby all night every night. Hang in there OP, it does get better!
