I had a white film on the top of my beet kvass after making it and letting it sit out for two days.
My whey was from kefir and it was sort of cloudy.
I've had whey go bad (stinky/foul odor) and also develop mold(?) after just a month or so which makes me wonder if I'm not fully seperating the solids out or something. Could this be related to my beet kvass film? Or is some sort of "bloom"? I've heard of that w/ sauerkraut, IIRC but haven't ever had it w/ my sauerkraut.
What do you think? Drink it? OK .... tbh I did drink it once but I tried to remove all parts of the mold/film. And I'm fine - or so I think
