So Tired

My perfect sleeper is no longer a perfect sleeper!!! DS was sttn almost from day one then at 5.5months he stopped and is up every 1-4 hrs. We side carred our crib and I find by 2 or 3am I just snuggle him up in my arms so I can get more than a few hours of sleep in a row.

We are ebf, and now at almost 7 months old he is eating some solids and is horribly constipated and teething. Generally though he barely eats any solids, mostly just tastes what we are eating.

I am trying to find food that he wants to eat in the hopes that I can fill him up at dinner so he won't want to nurse all night long. I don't want to night wean but would like to only have to get up once or twice in the night rather than 4-8 times which is what we sadly call normal now.

So any advice on constipated babies and encouraging more sleep? In terms of the constipation we have tried prune juice and massage.

TIA!!!

No advice, but your subject line totally and succinctly describes how I feel.

I hear pears are great for constipation.

No advice for the sleep, except that maybe he's uncomfortable. Could be that once the constipation is resolved and if you can treat him for teething (Hyland's, maybe?) then maybe he'll sleep better?
