painful above belly button and belly rash

Well I started to notice yesterday evening that just above my belly button is very sensitive. When I bend over it hurts and if I touch the counter tops while doing dishes, etc. I have never had this kind of sensitivity before. I am pretty sure it is not a baby part pertruding. Also I have a rash that has developed on my upper belly that is under the skin and flat, but does itch I guess. Can't tell if the itching is my stretching skin or the rash. Just curious for any thoughts on these things. I have my regular appt. tomorrow and I will be 38wks.

does anything help relieve it?

lotion? shower? vitamin e?

I have not put anything on the rash, scared to make it worse. I think it might be a heat rash, seems to come and go. Also, I think my belly button just maybe because my skin has stretched it's limit there and you wouldn't think I have a problem with this considering this is my 5th pregnancy, however this baby has given me a much different belly shape than any of the others, he is more basketball stick out straight from belly type then just big all over. Anyways, I guess I will find out more tomorrow after my appointment.
