Connor's 1st birthday, he weighed 17lbs10oz (had reached 18, got sick, lost weight, didn't gain it all back by his birthday)
Connor's 2nd birthday, he weighed 19lbs something (again, had reached 20, got sick, lost weight, didn't gain it all back)
Connor's 3rd birthday, he weighed 24lbs and was 33in tall. Yay!!
Today? Connor is 3 years 5.5 months and is a whopping 27lbs and 36in!!!!! Holy cow!!!!!
It still barely puts him on the growth charts, he's around the 3-5th percentile, but obviously it's big *for him* to have this much growth!
He looks tiny, because he is, and with his recent height gain, he looks even skinnier than before, but this *rate* of growth is just fantastic for him! And this is even with being sick most of the summer!! (three ear infections, two viruses, one strep throat)
Don't ask me what's causing it, I don't know. It's common in his syndrome for there to be "catch up" growth around Kindergarten age, most 22q kids go from below the charts to just barely on them around Kindergarten, then by the time they're adults they're on the "small side of normal". It looks like he's following that predicted trend.
