charting question

I usually temp at 6am. This morning I woke at 5am and noticed my LOs were awake so I quickly temped- 96.63. My LO whom I co-sleep with wanted to nurse, so we nursed for a bit then lay there, then nursed for a bit more. I didn't really move around too much and I didn't get out of bed. A little before 6 I temped again and I got 96.16. Which temp do you think I should use?

I personally would use the one from where you first woke up. Usually one off-the-wall temp isn't going to affect your chart too much, it's the overall trend that you're looking at.
Good luck!

You could use the 1st temp and add .1 for every half hour early. So your adjusted 6 am temp would be 96.8.

My temp is usually lower when I have to lay for a few minutes resettling my toddler. It's weird b/c I always think it will be higher, but usually it isn't.

Just make a note that you adjusted the temp, and what it actually was at 5 am so that if you need to discard it later you feel ok doing so.

I would defo use te first temp

Yep, I use the adjusting of .1 per 30 minutes... it really shouldn't make that much of a difference though whether you use the adjusted or regular temp. You are looking for a trend, not individual temps so just put in that you woke up early and all should be well.

Thank you! That was kinda my gut. I was being a little more particular because it might, possibly be my O day and I was wondering if it affected things or not. I guess we'll see tomorrow. I hope it was...
