What type of dipes do you use? After the nb period, i would probably switch to a OS dipe. And i'd be sure to have enough of them that i could wash every other day. And a little hint... Get a laundry basket dedicated to CDs. I rarely fold them. They come out of the dryer, into the deducated laundry basket, out of the basket and onto the butt. With 3 under 2, streamlining is going to be key.
What made you choose cd to begin with? Has that changed? Its still cheaper, still less waste, still less chemicals against baby's skin.

Diapers are supposed to be folded?
But seriously, I think its possible, and would be great for the budget. I only had one in diapers, but stored them in a pack and play which had a changing pad on top of it. I never really folded, just separated diapers and wipes into bins inside the pack and play.
With 3 in diapers I might consider a diaper service or would definitely keep some disposable diapers on hand in case you fell behind on laundry or just needed a break. Even cloth diapering part time would be better than nothing.
I usually washed diapers in the evening and tossed them into the drier at bedtime. They got sorted in the morning. (usually by DH since he got up earlier)
Oh, and congrats!

We'll be there with you soon! I have a 2yo DD who is NOT interested in the potty and DP is pregnant with twins, due in December. We fully plan to CD them all.
We use mostly prefolds, with a few pockets for sitters/grandparents. I never fold anything and only occasionally stuff the pockets beforehand (otherwise I do it when I'm convincing the 2yo to lay down on the changing table).
I think we will be doing laundry every other day, and otherwise we'll be taking disposables out to the trash at least that often, so I don't think it's terribly much more work. I just toss the bag in the wash instead of the drier. I suppose I have to move it to the drier, but with all the other insanity of 3 under 3 (under 2 in your case!) I doubt I'll even notice one load of laundry.
Also, as your older DD moves into toddlerhood, she won't dirty nearly as many diapers. DD goes through fewer than 6 a day, on average. With the 20 diapers or so that the twins will likely go through in a day, I'm not sure it's any different than anyone else who has CD'd twins.
FWIW, I've structured my laundry to avoid as much folding as possible. I don't fold DD's clothes (and they look fine, I toss them in her drawer) or diapers (in a laundry basket by the change table), I don't fold towels, dishrags, etc either (tossed in baskets in the closet). I fold DP's work clothes and I fold my clothes because they go on shelves. Probably less than 1/3 of our laundry now. I don't plan to fold the new babies clothes either. My kids can have folded clothes when they learn to fold themselves. If they have clean clothes in their dressers, and clean dipes for their bottoms, and there aren't clothes all over the floor, I figure things are going well (laundry wise, anyhow)
