Anything new lately?

Recently found out we're expecting baby #4! We have used CDs with #3 since birth and still do. Her CDs are still holding up pretty well, but I think we'll have to add at least a few more before #4. Currently we're only using BG3.0's. I have no complaints. They fit her at birth and they're still going strong. I imagine we'll just get more of those and maybe a few cute ones from HH. I wasn't that impressed with our snap up dipes.

Just wondering, is there anything new (in the last 2 years) that I should know about? Pockets work the best for us. DH does most of the diapering and washing and it's just EASY!

Well, if you love the BG 3's...I would think you'd really like the new 4.0s, since they are supposed to be much better. We also tried Flips, which I loved while DD was smaller, but now they seem to leak at gaps around her legs.

We have a whole stash of 3.0s, but what I really love is seeing a little babe in a soft fitted dipe with a cute fleece or wool cover. BGs are nice under clothes, though. Sorry I am all over the place...it's nap time and I am hurrying..

I have also heard good things about Best Bottoms, but haven't tried those.

I haven't used Best Bottoms, but they are 'new'. Kind of like gro-baby diapers I guess. They seem similar to pockets, just lay in, instead of stuff.

We have some 3.0s we love. I am interested in trying out a 4.0, but probably won't get anything new anytime soon.

I think the Best Bottoms insert actually snaps in, which is a plus over the Flip, IMO, because it can't slip around. But I already had Flips and didn't want to invest more to try one out.

Has anyone used Antsy Pants? I just ordered a few for my 4 yr old who is in pull-ups at night. I also ordered some for my 20 month old figuring she's showing she's ready to potty train and it would be easier to pull these dipes up and down. I hope I made a good decision! If I get DD out of her BG3.0's, maybe they'll last through the next baby too. The tabs look a bit worn but still function okay. Considering we've been using them constantly for 20+months, I think they're doing pretty well.

What's new about the BG4.0's anyway? Maybe you shouldn't tell me. Here I am only 5 weeks pregnant and I have CD shopping fever!

The BG 4.0 you can choose snaps or applix. The applix is supposed to be a bit stronger as well. Also they are more muted colors.

If you are just interested in refreshing your 3.0's you can buy a refresh kit that includes new applix for $2. You can get it on Cotton Babies website as well.

Another new product is what I am currently using for DD#2. Smartipants. I love them because they use suedecloth on the interior (DD breaks out in rash with fleece) and they are pockets that you don't have to unstuff, it agitates out in the wash because the pocket is open on both ends. I LOVE them because there really is no work required besides stuffing them when I take them out of the drier.

We have one Antsy pants for our 2 year old and love it. They are quite east up and down and I like the snaps for poo.
