We live in an apartment and have to wash in a laundry room at $2.50 a load (wash & dry) so I am concidering hand washing atleast once in a while to save a bit of money. How would you go about this?

I have a friend who is doing this with her diapers. She fills a kitchen garbage can (a tote may work better this is just what she had already) and takes a clean toilet plunger and does the cold rinse with plunger, hot wash with plunger, soak, and hot rinses with plunger. She says it works great.

If you look on you tube under hand washing you will find videos to watch regarding the method.

Good luck it is totally doable!
Also if you search this forum you will find post on it as well.

I've read several posts about successful hand washing. Also, do you have a friend that would let you use their washer once a week or so? You could babysit while the diapers washed adn she could run a quick errand or something.
