When it comes to vaccinations, Uncle Sam plays an active role in suppressing dissent. The CDC piece linked in the OP is just the tip of the iceberg. Here is what Secretary of Health & Human Services Kathleen Sebelius told Reader's Digest (bolding mine):

heck the nightly news is used by the CDC and other Gov agencies to further their agenda also, nothing new that series tv is also used. Anyone remember those Disney cartoons in the 50's on health and safety issues?
