My MIL has asked for a bday wish list for my son. She is flying out in 2 weeks, so I need to get her something quick.
I am trying to get organized enough to do some home preschool stuff with him, but with another due on the way around Christmas, I think I need to be realistic. So, I want to get a few materials to work with him when I can and then I was thinking about sending him to a play based preschool once a week. The goal that once I get settled with the baby, we could do more and more. Fortunately, my neighbor is a montessori teacher that is staying home with her 10 month old and she is planning on helping me.
On the wish list I have is 2 items she already mentioned I should get, sandpaper letter and number rods (the blue and red ones). She said I should also get DS a balance beam! Not sure where I would put that. I hope to see her in the next few days but DS is a little sick and I don't want to get her family sick.
Anyway, I was thinking about sending links from Montessori Outlet to my MIL. So, other than the items I already have, is there any other "must haves" I should put on my list?
