I'm 6 months pregnant, due in November and my husband's company is relocating him overseas for a possible 5 year stay.
I've been looking at cloth diapers, but I won't really get a chance to try anything out before we leave. I want to be able to take cloth diapers to last from NB to PL because we are not sure how often or if we'll be able to come back to the US during that time period. I also want to take potty learning underwear with us.
I'm looking at prefolds from Green Mountain Diapers, plus some flats, 1-2 dz Kissaluvs sz 0 and 4-6 covers in each size (BSWW, Kissaluvs marvels, Bummis super brite). Also, I knit so I plan to knit several wool covers in each size (I've already made several LTK ribby wraps) and maybe several longies as well. I'd also like to get a few Fuzzibunz perfect size in each size. Also cloth wipes. I've got some flannel sheets I plan to make some extra prefolds out of. Any recommendations on how many I'll need of each? We've been told our apartment will have a washer, but no dryer and that we may or may not be able to find a dryer to buy so we should plan on line drying everything.
I've been looking at options for several months now. Friends and family will probably buy some of these for me. But, I want to have a complete list ready by the end of September so we can buy everything and have everything we don't need right away packed before the baby comes.
