Baby's first foods

My DS is just about 8 months old, and I'd like to know what the recommended foods are on a TF diet.

Thanks.

I just gave my babies the same foods I prepared for the rest of the family, as long as it was soft enough for a baby to eat and cool enough. I used to put chunks of veggies and chicken from the chicken soup right on the high chair tray. I'd put it aside in a bowl first to let it cool, and the chicken I would cut against the grain into small pieces before giving to baby.

I started w sweet potato and avocado, neither of which he liked at the time. I mostly just gave him whatever i was making for dinner. Since i don't do many mixed dishes, he'd get whatever fruit or veg was in the CSA box that week. I think the next ghing he tried were mandarins, which he loved.
