Is it a bad reason to look into being a surrogate?

I had 30 hours of natural labor, but not natural birth w/ my first. My second pregnancy, I had breech/breech twins, and had to have a c-section.

We DO NOT want anymore children, but I can't help but feel cheated out of a natural birth experience.

Is wanting another chance at natural birth a bad reason to explore becoming a surrogate? I have a very natural friendly OB who would support a VBAC. I loved being pregnant, but so would not want another baby.

I don't think so. Watever your reasons, bringing a child into somebody's life when they can't themselves is a really great thing, so I don't see why that would be a bad reason, and I don't see how the future parents would care what your reasons were

(I say this as somebody who is having trouble TTC and desperately wants another baby, and would love it if I could find a surrogate, so perhaps I am biased).

Nope, I think that's a fine reason. If you had never been pregnant before, then I might caution you, but you seem to know what you're getting into--including the possibility that it might not be natural. Do spend some time thinking on how you'll feel if you do get that wonderful, natural experience--but as a surrogate. Will you feel unhappy that you didn't get it with your own kids? Will all those rushing hormones and "love cocktail" juices be easily transferred to your kiddos at home (I hope so!).
