Most economical/good Large AIO or pocket?

Thread Starter
We're on our last diapered babe here and my prefolds are wearing thin a bit. I thought I could hold them out a little longer if I add to my stash and have a larger rotation.
I always remember with ds1 that I would have liked a few "easier' dipes at the toddler stage. I do have 3 fuzzi bunz and got some Kushies on the cheap (although not to sure about these, but $3 a piece so...) The fuzzi bunz are okay but I got them used and they are about at the end of their life too. So I don't have a good experience about whether they are a great dipe or not. I had some leaks and some definite stink issues with these.
I'd love to find some cheap on craigslist or something. But if I were to purchase new (maybe 6-8 dipes?) what would you suggest? Also do pocket dipes usually come with the insert or are you buying that separate? I never can tell it seems to differ.

FYI, ds is a pretty easy fit, not chunky, not skinny....

I liked using the Bum Genius 3.0 on my son as a toddler and baby for that matter. You might be able to find some good deals on used ones as people might be trying to get 4.0s. If you buy them new, they come with inserts, but 'seconds' often times did not. All of the used pocket diapers I've bought have come with inserts also.

I use FuzziBunz exclusively and love them! We use sized and OS, and they're both great for their own reasons. For a toddler you could definitely use the OSs since they're super adjustable, or you could try the Mediums, which should fit your LO up to 35+ lbs. We've got 14 mediums and 13 OS, and they both work great for our 10 month old DD. If you buy the new style FBs, they have a 4 layer insert (included) which has been great even for overnight with no leaks. FYI, the sized dipes come with one insert which will be the proper length/width for whichever size you buy, and the OS diapers come with two inserts, one for a newborn, and then another for older babies. You can use them both together at night, however, for added absorbency.

I love Bumkins when I stick a doubler under the airflow panel. I'm also trying a Wallypop pocket for the first time.

P.S. If you do decide to buy some new FBs, I buy them at www.fuzzibunzstore.com. They have free shipping (no minimum), it's fast, and they have a rewards program so you can earn credit towards anything on their website (even more diapers).

If this is your last I would try Nubunz. I have 4 that were seconds that I really like. Right now their first quality are $8 each. Seconds with an insert are $5.50 and without an insert $3. Also there is Kawaii which are available through e-bay, Kelly's Closet and luvyourbaby.com. Those are also around $8-$9 each.

Depending on how big your kiddos are likely to get in the diapers I would recommend looking into Knickernappies OS. They have the tallest rise of the one sizes that I've dealt with.

Seconds

FuzzyBunz has a seconds store. The flaws are nearly impossible to find unless you have a first quality to compare to. Their deals vary, but you can sometimes get diapers as cheap as $10 each.

Because FB are so well known they'll be easy for you to sell when you're done if they've got some life left in them.
