House smells like vinegar

So I have a dog a Boxer and in searching for natural remedies to the doggy smell I ran across using a vinegar and water solution. It does work on the dog smell but my poor house now stinks of vinegar

Any thoughts or help with getting rid of the dog smell while not making things worse with another smell?

I am honestly considering not allowing the dog in the house any more

I clean with vinegar and water (50/50) and my house does smell like vinegar right after I'm done, but it fades pretty fast. You can add a small amount of dish soap to help with the vinegar smell.

I add a couple of drops of tea tree oil to my vinegar and water cleaning solution. It is still another smell, but it is more of a fresh and clean smell.

I also cut mine 50% with water and also add essential oils. Usually peppermint and lavendar as I've read that these also deter unwanted bugs and rodents (plus they smell good).
