Does anyone have a Bulldog?

We currently have a Shepherd and a Bernese Mountain dog mix but are toying with the idea of a puppy Bulldog. I LOVE the breed, but would love to hear from Bulldog owners. Pros? Cons? Pictures of your beloved pups?

American? French? English?

Many of them have alot of health problems. If you are going to get one make sure to get from a reputable breeder or shelter and plan on extras for vet costs as well as food because many have alergy issues. Also they are super stubborn. Be prepared to have a sence of humor and do alot of training and socialization.

I have two American Bulldog (rescues). They are amazing. But expensive. Because they have food allergies, they have to be on special food and can't eat random things or we have massive poop explosions in the house.

I would not get an English unless I had several thousand dollars a year for medical issues that could pop up. That was the reason we went with American Bulldogs.

And oh the stubborness. It is a battled of wills between our girl dog and myself maintaining Alpha status.

I wouldn't trade them for the world though.
