Gift ideas for older siblings?

I need some help with gift ideas for my other kiddos. They're all super excited of course but I thought if I gave them each something special (to help with baby) then they'd each have a 'job'.

I've got a 8 y/o girl and 3 boys 2,4,6.

Looking for 'natural' products that will be of help when the new baby comes. Any ideas for me? Links would be awesome if you've got a favorite website.

Me too! I need to come up with something for DS. He'll be 3-4 months shy of 3 yo when the baby is born and I'd like to get him a "birthday present" too.

One thing I'm thinking I'll get is the Hyland's Kids Kit. Homeopathic kit just for babies/young children. I got it before as a gift a long time ago and think I'll get another for my daughter's 'birthday' gift...

I made DD a baby carrier that matches mine, so she can carry her "babies" while I'm carrying the baby. But I don't think she'll really understand that one right away, so I still need to come up with something to give her right away.

We have a 2.5 year old. Her grandmother has gotten her a big sister/ baby sibling doll set from a mainstream toy store (we are saving it for the big day though). We are planning on making her a tiny pink nursing cover to use with her dolls, which she has been begging for. She will also be getting a Learning Tower or tall stool soon as she has been using my nursing stool to see what is going on in the kitchen and I want it back! She will also be getting a plain piggy bank which is random but I wanted to get her something practical that will help keep her excited about being big and ever since seeing one at a friend's house, she has been wanting one.

Well mine is totally NOT natural - but we are letting ds trade in his Nintendo DSi for the DSi XL (much bigger screen) .. it's something he's been wanting for 6+ months now and will be something to help entertain him when my attention is on the baby. Not that he's that hard to entertain at nearly 8, but it will still be an exciting gift for him. We'll probably also let him pick out a new game.

On the more creative and not totally non-crunchy side we are also making homemade t-shirts for ds and the baby. His says Big Brother and we've got a onesie that says Little Brother - ds is very excited about decorating them and taking pictures in their matching t-shirts.

I'm terrible when it comes to gifts. DS is going to be around 18 months when the new little one gets here. I have no real ideas on what to do for him. Any suggestions?

When my son was 2 we got him a soft doll with ahem...correct parts...to associate better with the newborn. Here is the link for some of the dolls. They're really well made and the clothes are all removable.

I've always given the new big brother a doll and doll carrier as a "big brother" present. I have one for ds3 ready and waiting.
