I quit my office job to stay home with my DD a year ago, and while I am very happy with the decision and love being home with her (and now DS, too!) one of the things that I miss is the structure of having an evaluation cycle, and the improvement/goal planning that goes with it.
Then, it occurred to me that just because I'm not working in an office job doesn't mean that I can't do a regular "evaluation" and do some goal planning for myself. Of course I'm always "evaluating" and worrying about whether I am doing a good job as mom/homemaker/wife, etc, but this would be more mindful and deliberate.
Has anyone done this, or something like this? Was it helpful?
