Another thread where a new mama needs guidance!

So, I went through my diapering stash tonight and found:

-9 size 1 diapers- 2 dri-line (I love how these feel!), 1 kissaluv, 6 cricket

-About 30 flat diapers in 3 easily identifiable sizes although they aren't "sized"

-9 size 1 all-in-ones (I'm going to craig's list these I think I don't love them and think they will be bulky to wash and hard to dry. Since it will be winter time I'm just going to pass on these. Unless someone hollers not to! )

-2 G diaper covers with 8 or so disposable inserts. I'm not sure what to think of these. The suspended part seemed like it would be terribly uncomfortable...any feedback on how you feel about these? Am I correct that I could stuff these with a prefold?

-On order I have 5 one size, all-in-ones that should be here tomorrow. I can't remember the name.

-I have 2 hemp inserts

-I plan on doing EC if that effects your answers. My first goal is catching 1 pee a day. I figure 1 fewer diaper a day is great! With my BFF's baby it would be super easy. She doesn't wet until you begin to take off her diaper (smart baby!). I hope I'm just as blessed.

Okay, so question time: How do y'all feel about the one size covers? That seems like a great solution given what I already have. If you don't love one size covers, how many size 1 covers should I get to go with my fitteds? Any brands to recommend? Obviously, few leaks would be first priority and super cute would be second. I plan on making some longies and shorties with some wool sweaters I bought but I do not like how wool feels on my skin. DH doesn't mind it. I figure I could always trade or sell these for PUL covers if babe doesn't like the feel.

Thanks for the help!

I don't have any feedback on the others. but I do use gDiapers on my 15 month old. we mostly use the gCloth inserts, but also use a tri-folded prefold, and it works well. and she's pretty comfortable in them unless fastened too tight.
