Bottles are confusing! I'm going back to work next week and figure I need more than the one bottle I bought at Whole Foods a month ago. So, after spending half an hour in the bottle section of Babies R Us with a stupid look on my face, I figure I need some help.
So, DD is 5.5 months old, hasn't really taken bottles other than a few times over the last week or so. We will be nursing when I'm with her for the foreseeable future (DD1 nursed until age 4). How do I choose a bottle? How can I tell what DD prefers? What "flow" nipple do I use? She's only drinking about 3-4 ounces of expressed milk right now--can we stick with the small bottles for the time being?
I did buy bottles by the way... two different 3-packs based mostly on what was affordable. I think I bought Nuby and Evenflo. I had picked up some glass ones, too, but think I'll return them because DD is very interested in holding the bottles herself. I also bought "stage 2" nipples for each.
