Depression and menopur?

I've taken menopur before, but I feel like this cycle I am really struggling with extreme mood swings and depression. I can't find anything about menopur and depression online, so I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this?

Just seeing this now. Is it better now that you are past ovulation?

Yes it is much better! I am feeling less manic, and tiny things aren't sending me into a downward spiral. Infertility is so hard sometimes, not only can you not make a baby easily, but the meds can screw with you so much.

Ugh so true! I hate IF!

I am on my first IVF cycle and have definitely noticed depression symptoms and major mood swings that seem to be a result of the Menopur. The symptoms didn't set-in until a week into the Menopur injections. When the mood swings began, however, they were pretty strong. My husband is still cleaning mashed potatoes out of his ear after a sarcastic comment he made. I would never throw mashed potatoes at my husband, but apparently the me on Menopur would. Injectable hormones do crazy things to your body. The upside is that they are temporary. Hang in there! "A Few Good Eggs", which can be found at Barnes and Noble, is an amazing book written by two women who have ridden every ride at the IF theme park. They provide first hand accounts on IF, the procedures involved, the drugs involved, and how they affect you, as well as your relationships. I highly recommend checking it out. It has been extremely informative and it helps you remember that their are others going through the same difficult times.
