My DD is 15 months. She has always been a great sleeper - slept 12 hours at 10 weeks - and yes, while co-sleeping! Unlike her older brothers, she's just not "attached." (Her 4.5 yr old brother just weaned.) Anyway.
She is nursing totally inconsistently. Sometimes she only nurses once in 24 hours! Obviously this is no good for my supply, which has plummeted. If this continues, I do feel that she'll wean soon, as she's not interested in nursing when I don't really have milk. Any suggestions or encouragement to continue?
I've been nursing for 4.5 years now, so part of me really wouldn't mind if she self-weaned now. One of her brothers self-weaned at 14 months, though (I was pregnant at the time), and I've always kind of mourned it as being too early.
