Cutting SIX teeth at ONCE!!!

Oh my. DD is 8 months old and got her first two teeth (bottom center) about 2 weeks ago.

They're halfway in.

She's currently got 3 teeth poking through and 3 about to

I feel horrible for her but it doesn't seem to phase her! Anyone else have a baby with similar experiences??

Yup, mine had her bottom two for months then cut all 6 other incisors for about a period of 4 weeks. Wasn't too bad, really.

Jules just turned 9 months and has had her bottom two for several months. The top 4 are coming in all at once and she's been a fuss-budget! I won't be upset when they move down a bit.

My 8-month-old has been cutting her top two and bottom two (she has 2 bottom incisors) for the past 2 weeks- looks like the incisor on the bottom left is calming down, but righty is so red and swollen, and her top two are about to rip through any second now.

We do a lot of cold chewies, cold food (she is obsessed with ice cream- the reason they say not to give ice cream to a babe under a year is so you get one year of your kid's life to not have to share!) and Orajel when it's bad; we don't do anything special really.

My son got 6 first teeth at the same time, he was just over 12 months. Honestly,
I barely knew he was teething until he had teeth showing. A few runny diapers and that was it. He is a pretty good teether though, the first time I really noticed teething was when he got one of his 2 year molars a month ago. He has three more of those to go.

Yup. DD has 6 on top coming in, plus at least 1 on the bottom that I can spot. It's just so hard to get her to let me peek, though!

My DD got 6 in a week, when she was 8 months, but she was miserable. She was a wretched teether. DS has been sooooooo much slower and mellower.

oh God, this is going to be us one day, I'm sure. DS is 2weeks from turning ONE and has only his two bottom teeth. I fear that one of these days, he's just going to get all the rest at once.

Yeah, that sounds like ds1... I swear he started teathing at 4.5 months and by 7.5/8 months he had (essentiailly) all his teeth. Hardcore teething for a couple months sucks... but on the up side, its a couple months of hell rather than a year of hell all spread out.

This also occcurred with my son's teeth, eight teeth by eight months.
At four months the bottom two incisors came in followed by a three month wait. Then between the seventh and eight month six more teeth erupted. I suppose we are in the waiting period again as he is ten months and he still has eight teeth.

DD2 is 12.5 months and is getting 4 molars plus the 8th front tooth all at once. We are getting no sleep; she is cranky, clingy, nursing non-stop, volatile, and randomly starts sobbing. She's been like this for a month now
