Knights & Princesses & Lords & Ladies &...

DS picked out a couple of books on knights at the library, and then I found a few medieval crafts books. I'm thinking we can do a lengthy unit on the medieval period. I'm just looking for ideas for things you've done or books you particularly enjoyed on this period.

Our favorite book so far on knights is Knight: A Noble Guide for Young Squires.

Tomorrow we'll be building a carboard castle that I found in Family Fun magazine. Something like this or this.

Other things we're doing:

Inside a Medieval Castle (pdf)

Knights and Castles Notebooking Pages

Nova Medieval Siege: Destroy the Castle Game

Medieval Life Flashcards

My son is really into knights, so most of our studies have focused on that. HTH!
