Please help!!! Any insight??

Can anyone take a look at my chart? I need help!!! I just got crosshairs this morning putting me at 3dpo, but this is the fourth day in a row that I have had a positive opk. Is that possible? I am using Answer strips and the Clear Blue digital and they are corresponding. I'm just quite confused...

I think FF is wrong with your O date and it is actually cd16. I think another couple high temps like today's and FF will move it to that day. What method do you have FF on - Advanced? Maybe the positive ferning listed is throwing it off.
And I think some ladies have gotten long periods of positive OPKs before. You could have just picked up the very beginning and caught the very end of the surge.

i agree. CD 16 for o day.

Thanks so much ladies! I kind of thought the same, though I was wishing otherwise. We will see what the morning temps and opks look like...

Oh, is it possible to have ovulated and still get a positive OPK?

i'm pretty sure an LH surge can last post O - if you check out the chart gallery on FF I'm sure you can find similar charts by searching specifically for ones that have positive OPKs.

But I'd say if you get a 5th day of pos OPK i would take an hpt. there was a lady on here that O'd a lot earlier than she thought and instead of her oPKs picking up the LH it was acting as a positive pg test and she is pg with twins! (not to scare you or anything! lOL) Your temps look pretty clear and unless AF was actually pg breakthrough bleeding, those chances are slim...but I don't recal seeing anyone with 5 days pos OPK either...?

Hmmmm- I stopped testing- I didn't test yesterday b/c it was driving me crazy... I'm just reading this and now you have me thinking I should test again.... Of course I just peed!!! Ah, well I will update you either way. Do you know if it is possible to get a temp rise and not o? Maybe I was just gearing up? My temp is definitely staying up, though.

Ok. Just tested and I got the ole smiley face on my opk. It's the digi, so I can't be wrong. Of course I tossed my pee so I can't do a preg test, but if I don't get a bfp, what in the world is going on- 6 days of +opk with a pretty clear temp rise. Is that possible?

wow 6 days of OPK.... I haven't seen any charts with that many days of pos OPK. - maybe it is a faulty batch of tests?
Even if it was an issue of gearing up and then not ovulating, usually there is a break from the LH.
I am curious about that hpt!

I am too!!

Any updates, Tara??!?!

p.s. if you are pg enough to get a pos OPK, I think any time of day urine would work for an hpt...just saying is all.....

Tara - by looking at your chart, I agree with the other ladies, I think FF may be wrong and the actual O date could be CD 16.

But I'm curious what's going on with the positive OPKs??? POAS lately??

Ok, well here it is... Not the answer we all thought. I POAS and got BFN!!! So, I have no idea what this is all about, but I have read that once you get a positive on an opk you should stop testing. I guess that is what I should have done and I wouldn't be left so confused!!!!

On another note, I have put in a few more days of high temps and FF hasn't changed my O date. Should I just go with CD16 instead of CD14? It seems to be a consensus. I have Oed right?
Sorry to hear about the BFN!
I would say that you have definitely O-ed. I noticed that the CD 14 temp seems to have been taken at a different time (it's the open circle). If it was me, just out of curiousity I'd discard that temp to see if it that has any effect on the crosshairs.

Also, do you know about when you usually O in relation to a positive OPK? For example, I generally O two days after my positive OPK, so if it was me I'd tend to think CD 16 instead of 14.

hmmm, well sorry to get your hopes up Tara. I honestly haven't seen that many days of pos OPKs unless the woman was surprisingly pg.
I still think the positive ferning is throwing it off. Are you on advanced mode? I still think cd16 is a good bet. If you weren't using the OPK at all or stopped after the first one, like you siad, there would be no issue right....it is a definite thermal shift as far as i can tell. it may be one of those look back in retrospect things too?
Good luck! I am still gonna chart stalk!

Jenn, you are a genius! You sure know your charting... So I took the ferning off and it switched my o date to cd16- just like you suggested. But, I really did have full ferning that day. I haven't tested with an opk again b/c I don't wantto drive myself crazy! Oh, yes I am on advanced on FF- would that change things? Anyway, please do chart stalk!
