Cannot. Handle. Transition Poo!!!!!

Gross! DS nurses mainly, but is getting more and more solids into his mouth. His poo is paste-y, not formed but not liquidy breastmilk poo. I'm so grossed by putting this in my washing machine! I tried scraping, but it didn't really work, it more like smeared the poo. Just now I opened the washer to add the detergent after a couple of rinses and there was still lots of visible bits of poo. Yuck!

Is there a way to speed along the process of solid poo without going radical with his diet?

Suggestions? TIA!

Fleece liner with flushable liner on top works really well.

Does he poop somewhat on a schedule? If you know one is coming, you might use a flushable liner to help with cleanup.

Good luck! I remember that was a trickier time....

My solution to this problem: diaper sprayer! My guy is nearly two and I often still use the sprayer on softer poops. I think it was definitely worth it.

Hi Juliacat! Long time no see!

I'm definetly going to get a sprayer next paycheck.

I tried the lay-in flushable liners that I had just sitting there in his room and they helped some (for the middle) but there was still a huge icky mess around the legs- he was wearing a Goodmamma fitted.
