STILL throwing up? At almost 26 weeks?

It's not fair.

And it always happens in the shower. Why is that? I can't just not take a shower. And it doesn't matter when I take the shower or if I eat before or not. The only good part is that clean up is easy.

How about if you eat IN the shower?

I only had a month through out that I did not throw up. No, it's not fair

btw, I always throw up in the tub. Looking in the toilet makes me uh nauseas...

I'll have to try that.

The best barf day was the one where I ate Swedish Fish for breakfast. Compared to my normal yellow bile, it was positively festive.

I remember puking in the shower last time I think around 24-25 weeks, and I grossed myself out, like , how low can I go with this?

I think it is the heat or steam? Because I am not throwing up anymore this time, but I still dry heave a lot, and yes it always happen in the shower, even before I start using the shampoo.

Perhaps we should all just make a pact not to shower. That might actually also help with my vow never, ever to be pregnant again.

I'm not still throwing up, but I'm IN! I love a warm shower, but I overheat so bad lately that I feel like I'm going to pass out.

I am in your DDC and I am throwing up still too. I have done my share of throwing up in the shower

33 weeks here and still throwing up. Unreal. I'm surprised every time, which is ridiculous because it happens every day. I still think it might actually end. Ha! Kitchen sink seems to be my place of choice, though I've hurled my share in the shower too.

Hugs.

cold showers. Sucks but that was the only way I wouldn't throw up.

and clean up is NOT easy when you just ate an apple about 20 minutes prior. yeah, those chunks don't go down the little screen drain.

Hard candy in your mouth? Cherry Halls helped me not throw up in situations where I almsot always would.

Oh man, I'm sitting here waiting to throw up and what do I do? Read this! I'm sick.

Annette, I sure hope you feel better soon, mama! I was originally in your DDC and remember you well.

I am so right there with you! First trimester I was barely sick, a couple iffy days and one barf fest at work. Now I am nauseus almost every morning, throw up regularly, and yes, in the shower a lot. I figure it's par for the course, every pregnancy is different but yes, it is getting harder to take. I try to really take my mornings slowly, get up earlier, move slower, really space out what I need to do before I leave for work but still I do get sick most days. Just wanted to say I hear you and I sympathize with you mama! Hang in there! I had to give up OJ for awhile, it almost killed me.

DDCC-

Wanted to commiserate. I'm only 21 weeks, but still having problems. I have a lot to get done today, and of course, I'm having tons of nausea, which I know will lead to vomiting if I don't take it easy. And I REALLY, REALLY want a nap.

I found out something worse than throwing up in the shower. Waking up at 3 AM because your heartburn made you throw up in your mouth, and being taken so by surprise that you accidentally breathe it in.

Oh, dear. That is definitely worse.

Yeah, it has not been a happy day at my house. Ah well.

When I was preg with DD, I had morning sickness from, well, beginning, until about 16 weeks. I totally thought I was done with it, then it came back in the last couple of months! Man, no fun throwing up with a full tummy blocking your way! This time around, I'm still sick at 14 weeks, we'll see how this one plays out.

I have the shower thing, too. For me, it is the heat of the shower. I try to only shower every other day now plus not as hot as I'd like. I usually love showers but now it's like trying to get it over with ASAP each time. Oh well.

I'm still getting sick at 17 weeks. NOT FUN. My worst time is always brushing my teeth. Without fail I will throw up or dry heave after.

I'm in the same boat you are, Annette...I am so sorry you're still feeling so miserable! Its not always the shower for me, but every freaking morning when I go in to brush my teeth...if I turn the water on, I cannot so much as LOOK at the toilet. Its ridiculous! I feel like Pavlov's dog. I originally would turn on the water when I was sick 24/7 so the sound of my puking wouldn't scare my youngest and it sorta backfired on me in the end, I guess.

And to whoever was talking about easy cleanup...umm...maybe, as long as you haven't had spaghetti for dinner prior to taking a shower. That's about all I have to say about that.
