The Fabulous ONE Thread - Aug. 29 - Sept. 4 - Page 5

SML, I am so sorry. I really hope you get your sticky baby soon.

AFM, my temp was down a little this morning, but FF still gave me cross hairs. So I am officially 3DPO and please move me to Waiting to Know.

Seems like a lot of ladies are cycling together this month. Hopefully there will be all kinds of BFPs!!

outside of the box - CD1 is the first day of red! Hopefully this information will be of no use to you!

Agree with just_lily - lots of activity going on around here! Looks like we have some testers this week!

That's cool, several of us were cycle buddies last month too.
My timing was a lot better this month, so hopefully I get a better result.

So I *think* I am 2dpo, but not really sure. Again! Temps are kinda low for post O for me, but are higher than the lows. And to have 2 or more 97's before the 98's in the 2ww is a pattern I don't usually have. As if that weren't enough, the last two temps were a good half hour after my usual temp time. However, a few days ago I temped half hour later too but it was 97.3, right in line with the lows... So who knows?

Once again, I'm guessing on a chart. Clarity please!

well you were, and i have to say...a little rude. i was trying to give her a little "pick me up" when she had said she was feeling like she missed her chance.

and here is the link you refereed to about the "disproving shettles" most of the shettles is false information, (we agree there, i believe, that there can be a lot of that on boredes like this ) but some information is still valid. (ie: the X v. Y sperm swim in different patterns, strait or spirally, but at the same speed, so the CM plays the roll of 'girl sperm can swim faster after o when the CM dries up' ect...)

also, that whole site has great info. i didnt have time to respond to your original 'inquiry' or 'opposition' or whatever.

im sorry that you didn't previously know the information i was providing, and im sorry you took is as 'misinformation'. just be cause we dont know something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. ill make sure to provide a link next time so there is no confusion on my opinion, and researched information. i myself hate it when people do that, so ill make sure i provide.

I am a HUGE researcher...but all research is skewed in one way or another. Whether it's the person/group funding the research, WEIRD samplings (Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, and Democratic), or a MILLION other factors, research provides us with a good basis, but isn't the be all and end all. While I certainly wouldn't condone giving out misinformation, a little bit of questionable information (especially when it is prefaced as such) won't likely hurt anyone.

Getting off my

We are all here because we are going through something similar, and something very personal. Things are going to get personal, and feelings are going to get hurt. But let's try to keep it to a minimum. We are going through enough!!!

Arrright...well, sorry I was rude. I must not have read my email update carefully and missed some of the context of the quote.

CLH I really hope you get pregnant!

And, threadkeeper, you can take me off the list. I am on too many TTC threads. I can't keep up with this one...

So best of luck to everyone, and hope to see some of you in my DDC (June)!

I wanted to add that I don't think anyone was bashing anyone. merely providing alternate information.
We all use various methods - whether it is taking a zillion supplements, charting, examining our cervixes or even boiling pee? LOL We all do it with the same goal in mind - a healthy baby. If someone was truly trying to gender select then they woulod research ALL the info out there and make a decision on whether they wanted to reduce the odds of conception in general in favor of selecting a gender - not just one post in one general thread.
I don't think any harm was meant by any post and especially in message form, it is sometimes hard to gauge a mood, no mjatter how many emoticons you use!

Carry on! LOL

FTR, it wasn't. And like I said, I wasn't trying to hurt anyone's feelings. I just didn't realize this thread was not for discussion and information, only support, hugs, and crossed fingers.

But it's all cool, because like I said, I can't keep up anyway. So everyone carry on.

EDIT: And, oh yes, if I get my BFP, and manage to take the second test with frozen pee, I will certainly come back and tell those of you who haven't gotten pregnant yet how it turned out.

I know it wasn't...I was speaking more broadly than the current topic. And personally, I am definitely here for more than just mushy stuff and support (which is why I'm to see you go). Some information is good, some is questionable, some is bad. I hope we can weed out the bad, encourage the good, and discuss the questionable!

any vitex users (or any other supplement for that matter!) know if i start it now, i might actually ovulate this YEAR!?

Hi ladies, mind if I join in?

I posted an introduction thread already but just in case.... I'm 28, have been married to DH for 10 yrs and have 3 boys. (10, 8 and 3) This is our first time TTC, the boys were surprises and we wanted to plan our next one. If anyone is willing to give words of wisdom on charts, temperature changes, ect I would really appreciate it.
