How often and for how long does your EBF 7-8 month old babe eat? My almost 7 month old seems to really be going farther in between feedings and not eating nearly as long (about every 3 hours and 5-10 min). She's been given BLW foods but rarely ingests anything, so she's not getting food there. During the night she sleeps a solid 8-10 hours before she wakes to feed, so she's not eating all night long either. I'm not worried as she seems to be growing fine, just curious how she compares...

DS eats for naps and about 5 times overnight. He has gotten a lot faster- around 10 min or less. So he can go a really long time during the day without eating. He naps maybe two times a day and sometimes forgoes eating for the first nap since it is within two hours of waking up. So maybe 8-10 times a day and several of those seem to be comfort nursing to get back to sleep overnight rather than sustenance. Since he has started crawling everywhere it has gone up a little but he will just ask for a snack, eat for like 3 minutes and then go back to playing! Oh, and nice on the solid sleep at night, go baby girl! I am hoping that starts back up for us some time soon, we haven't seen more than two hours since a little before four months!

DD is 8.5 months. No table foods and just a bit of water here and there. So far today she's nursed 5 times in the last twelve hours. She only sleeps in two hour stretches at night. Nurses on one side maybe 5 minutes and goes back to sleep.
We were out and about today so she went about 4 hours between her first feeding and the second but wanted to nurse more frequently in the afternoon. Usually she will want to eat every 2.5-3 hours.
