Anyone using a Hybrid System?

Hi Everyone!

I'm sorry if these are questions that have already been covered in another thread, but I am currently using BumGenius pockets and love, love, love them, but I am about to move into a building with coin laundry and think that they will no longer be practical, as baby number two is also coming.

I am toying with the idea of a cloth diaper service in NYC, but think that a hybrid system might be a better fit when we move.

I tried gdiapers as my on the go diapers for a while, and was not crazy about them. I think the GroVia covers look much nicer for a similar price. But the GroVia biodegradable inserts are so much more expensive.

I guess my real question is (sorry for being long-winded) is has anyone used GroVia covers with gdiaper inserts? That seems sensible to me, but I was wondering if anyone has experience.

Thanks so much!

We've always CD'd in coin-op apartments..it does hurt!

You might want to see if you can find somebody to (or DIY, if you are crafty) make you covers that would work for G-diapers. A while back I read of somebody who did that-they found a WAHM who made diaper covers they really liked, sent her a G-diaper and insert, and she made a modified version of a cover which the mom really liked. You never know?
