DS is 2 weeks shy of a year, and I decided soon after he was born that I would pump at work the whole first year (takes a lot of commitment, for anyone who hasn't done it). Now, it is time to stop pumping at work, but he still nurses to sleep on the weekends for his naps twice a day. He nurses to go to sleep at night and a few times overnight still, so I am not worried about nighttime supply. But, if I stop pumping at work during the week, will I have enough milk on the weekend days to nurse him down for his naps? I plan on working on getting to sleep a different way for his weekend naps, but I'm in no rush. He most likely will still also nurse once right after I get home from work, and he still nurses around 6 AM. So there would only not be a demand for it between 6 AM and about 430 PM. Thanks for any help!

I pumped at work for 15 months! It is a HUGE commitment
How many times a day do you pump at work right now? Before I totally stopped pumping, I weaned down. When I first went back to work I pumped 3 times a day, then dropped to 2, then eventually 1. So when I stopped it really ended up being no big deal. I never noticed any supply issues on my days off at home either. Our bodies are amazing, the way they know what to do
The only thing I will say is that, sometimes on my days off when dd would nurse more freq, like when sick or growth spurt, I could tell when I went back to work and it took a day for my body to slow back down, which just meant I was READY to nurse when I got home
