Need resources regarding separation anxiety

Hello all,

I'm preparing to go to trial against my DS's father in regards to custody. He wants our son, who is 2.5 yrs-old, to have prolonged visitations with him in his Massachusetts' home. DS and I live in Nebraska. I'm looking for studies that will help support my gut feeling that this would not be emotionally and developmentally good for DS. DS has hardly spent one night away from me. The father just recently came into his life (earlier this year) and after 3 intense months of visitation, stopped visiting at the end of May. The thought of my baby going cross country without me simply crushes me, but as I'm told time and time again - it isn't about me.

Thanks for any help you can spare

I don't have any resources for you but I would be very, VERY suprised if any judge ordered a 2.5yo to spend long visitation with someone he has only known for three months.

Is your DS father still interested in visitation if he hasn't seen your DS in three months?
