GI awareness week?

Is there really such a thing?
Someone here mentioned it, and that it was first week of April.
I have been looking high and low for something to confirm this, because I would like my local radio station to add it to thier list of national whatever days/weeks . April is fast approaching.

I have found something on icgi.org that is the first week of May, but it says Pennsilvania (sp?)

Someone help me out please?

Yes. Last year it was held in Washington, DC. I've heard rumors of it this year but know none of the details. maybe someone can fill us in.
