I have to buy DS new socks for fall/winter and I'm dreading it.
He has WIDE feet. It seems that if I get socks wide enough to fit, they are too long and bunch up around his toes which drives him crazy. It would drive me crazy too, totally uncomfortable.
When he was smaller (like, still in soft soles) I could only buy one kind of socks from Nordstrom - they were the only ones wide enough that didn't bunch up or cut off blood supply at his ankles. Well, that brand is also thin and not warm enough for winter now that he's out playing a lot.
I have about 5 brands of socks upstairs he refuses to wear. I'm picky about my socks too, they have to be comfortable so I understand. But you can't try them on in the store.
Any suggestions?
