My DD is a night owl, she goes to bed 10 to 11p and wakes up anywhere between 8-9:30. This means we miss out on stuff with morning classes. I would like to shift it so she goes to bed earlier and wakes up earlier, but if I wake her up earlier, then she takes a nap, which then means she goes to bed even later than normal - 11-11:30 as opposed to 10 without a nap.

She gave up naps at 2 1/2, so they are only now if she wakes up early and even then only in the car. It seems even 20-30 minutes in the car is enough to keep her up late.

Is it possible to shift everything up and how do I do it? I am expecting #2 in January, so going to bed late and then waking up a few times a night and waking up early I don't think is going to go to well for me.

I'd also like to get her into her own bed, because she is a kicker at night (I have been kicked in my stomach and a few times in my mouth in the past week), so if anyone has suggestions for that, I am open to them. She still needs to fall asleep pretty much on me, so I don't think I have enough body to share with 2 kids!
